Hi, I'm Kristie and I reside in Southern Maryland. As a passioniate hunting, fishing, and wildlife photographer, I've been capturing moments since I was a little girl, starting out with a green Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle camera. After completing a few photography courses in high school, I pursued my dream and graduated from The University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Design Photography in 2006. I kickstarted my career by teaching two classes at The College of Southern Maryland and photographing families and weddings for a living.
From April 2009, I've had the honor of working with the U.S. House of Representatives as an Official House Photographer under the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). For the last few years I've held the first Supervisor, Multimedia/Visual Information- Photography position, where I oversee the Photo and Video team with House Creative Services. During the week I get to capture history for a living!
Photography is my biggest passion, and I enjoy exploring the outdoors with a camera in hand whenever I'm free. In the summer months, I kayak or paddleboard to capture nature's beauty, and during the fall, I focus on photographing waterfowl and deer hunting stories. Even in the winter, I brave the cold and sit in the water in waders to get the perfect shot. Additionally, I'm a proud hockey mom, so you can find me taking pictures of my son on the ice.
If you're on the hunt for a photographer to capture your next hunting trip, be it your child's first hunt or a memorable grandfather's last, count me in! I'm all about preserving these special moments for hunting and fishing enthusiasts. It works in my favor that I'm an avid hunter and angler, and combining both of my passions is a real treat.
